Healing on the Streets Northampton is small team of Christians from different Churches who are working together in unity outside our buildings in order to do what Jesus said to do:

Heal the sick

Share God’s love

Equip the Church

What we do at Healing on the streets

We are very happy to pray for you to receive, physical, emotional and spiritual healing in the name of Jesus. We pray for people of any, little or of no faith at all.

Healing on the Streets is a simple, but beautiful way, to reach out to the lost and hurting on the streets of our town. It enables us to connect with your community every week. The HOTS model is simple yet profound, gentle yet powerful, full of God’s presence and brimming over with love.

Where and When?

Saturdays

You’ll find us ready to pray with you on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Saturday of each month. We’ll be next to the water fountain on Northampton Market Square. On these days, we welcome Christians from across Northampton’s churches to join us to pray for people. Whether you need prayer for healing for you, someone else, or something else altogether, we will be happy to pray with you.

Is Healing on the streets a con?

Have questions about what we do? Why do we do it? The validity of it? Well, hopefully we’ll answer a few of those questions below.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR PRAYER?

NO! We don’t believe you should pay for prayer. Our faith tells us Jesus died on our behalf at great cost to him, and to come into relationship with his people… so we certainly should not ‘monetise’ something that welcomes people to relationship with them. So please do not give us money… If you want to give money, find a local church or charity and give to them as ‘thanks’ for receiving God’s healing.

I AM (INSERT ATHEIST, AGNOSTIC, HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD…) CAN I RECEIVE PRAYER?

Yes, absolutely! Jesus grace is for all, and we are not able to ‘judge’ you. Instead we simply embrace you, and pray for you needs and invite the love of God to meet with you.

HEALING ISN’T REAL. SO WHAT’S THE CON?

Well, we disagree that healing isn’t real. We have personal experience of God’s healing – and have heard thousands of stories of God healing all types of problems, big and small. But also stories of God meeting needs, restoring relationships and more. Want to know what the catch is? Come and receive prayer and see… there is no con, no ulterior motive, other than we hope you will be healed and meet with God.

If you are interested in joining us to pray please get in touch so we can discuss which Saturday would suit you best and so we can get to know each other. We ask that you be a practising Christian with a heart to share God’s love with others, and not seeking your own ends or goals. We simply want to see people encounter the incredible healing love of Jesus on the streets of Northampton.
